EdgeIQ ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using EdgeIQ, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We may also collect an optional display name that you choose to provide.
Betting Data
When you log bets or import bet history, we store that data in your account. This includes event details, odds, stakes, outcomes, sportsbook names, and any tags or notes you add. This data belongs to you and is only used to power your personal analytics.
Usage Data
We may collect basic usage data such as pages visited, features used, and timestamps. This helps us understand how people use EdgeIQ so we can improve the product. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Device and Browser Information
We may collect standard technical information such as your browser type, operating system, and screen resolution. This is used solely for ensuring the app works properly across different devices.
We use your information to:
Provide and maintain the Service, including personalized analytics and insights. Authenticate your identity and secure your account. Improve EdgeIQ by understanding usage patterns and fixing bugs. Send you important account-related communications (such as security alerts or major product changes). Respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your betting data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase (our database provider). All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure that each user can only access their own data. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
EdgeIQ uses the following third-party services:
Supabase -- for authentication and database hosting. Your account and betting data is stored here.
The Odds API -- for fetching real-time sports odds. We send API requests to retrieve odds data but do not share any of your personal information with this service.
We do not integrate with any advertising networks or data brokers.
You have the right to:
Access your data -- You can view all your data within the app and export it at any time through the Export feature.
Delete your data -- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us or through the Settings page. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Correct your data -- You can edit your profile information and bet records directly within the app.
Port your data -- You can export your bet history and analytics at any time in standard formats.
EdgeIQ uses browser cookies and local storage for authentication (keeping you signed in) and for storing your preferences (such as theme, odds format, and timezone). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
EdgeIQ is not intended for anyone under the age of 18 (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will take steps to delete that account and its associated data.
We retain your account and betting data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records. Anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot be used to identify you) may be retained for analytical purposes.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of any sale of personal information. As noted above, we do not sell personal information. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. The legal basis for our processing of your data is your consent (when you create an account) and our legitimate interest in providing the Service. You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing of, and port your data. You also have the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of EdgeIQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
